Background: Simon was born to a tavern maid, and a father who was in and out of his life until he became a teenager, and then his father seemed to disappear. Simon assumes him dead. His father did like the drink and during one of his drunk ramblings he mentioned his son "Ryder", which was when Simon became aware he had a sibling (or half sibling). In order to supplement his mother's income he learned the art of pick pocketing early on. He also learned to be "invisible" and listen. Because of his ability to be invisible and listen, he got the nickname of Ghost. When he learned information was a valuable commodity, he mastered the fine art of bargaining and left pick pocketing behind in lieu of becoming an information broker of sorts.
Relationships: half brother to Ryder, although Ryder doesn't know about Simon's existence.
